Will Cost reporting match my bill exactly?  

Static > Cost reporting on Stark ID is a powerful tool but it is not designed to match your supplier invoices exactly. We would advise against using it to validate your invoices are correct. 

Why does it not match my energy bill?

There are several reasons why Cost Reporting will not match your bill exactly. These include:

  • Reports use your half hourly profile data even for NHH meters (which are billed by suppliers using monthly reads) 
  • Smaller charges might be bundled by us into a single generic miscellaneous charge or standing charge. 
  • Suppliers estimate, recharge, or back-bill and these are not tracked by Cost Reporting

Cost Reporting will generally match your bill to between 95% and 100% accuracy depending on your tariff and meter settlement type.
